About
I never planned on starting my own consulting practice. If you had asked me in college where I’d end up, I would have told you I was going to be a professional drummer.
That background matters because of how I approached it. I wasn’t an "artist" chasing fame. I was a craftsman. I loved the discipline, the precision, and the structure required to make a rhythm section work.
For the last 15 years, I have applied that same mindset to marketing.
Most recently, I served as President of a creative agency, overseeing operations and service delivery for major clients in technology, healthcare, and education. I learned that sustainable growth doesn't come from a viral moonshot; it comes from building systems that work—day in, day out.
Today, I work as a Fractional CMO for founders who are tired of guessing. My role is to replace ad-hoc tactics with operational discipline, building the reliable infrastructure you need to drive predictable revenue.
How I Work
The Craftsman Approach. Marketing requires creativity, but it survives on logic. I balance the two. I don't just generate "big ideas"; I build the lists, the workflows, and the infrastructure to make sure those ideas actually get shipped.
Velocity is a Strategy. I pride myself on speed—not just in execution, but in understanding. I have a track record of dropping into complex industries, learning the constraints quickly, and driving impact in weeks, not months.
Candor Over Comfort. I believe the most effective marketing is simply the truth. I don't spin-doctor, and I don't hide behind jargon. You will always get an honest assessment of what is broken and a clear plan on how to fix it.
Mission First. I am passionate about working with good people to solve meaningful problems. I don't chase growth for growth's sake; I build engines that support the long-term vision of the company.
Out of Office
When I’m not working, I’m usually writing or playing bass with my country cover band. I’m also an amateur history buff and an aspiring home cook.
